Stacked Wallstone

Drive around old New England and you'll see stacked stone walls that have survived for centuries!  Like the name suggests, these stone walls are built by dry stacking stones and snugging them as best as possible to ensure durability.  This wall structure is ideal for areas where drainage is a problem, as lack of mortar in these walls allows water to pass through.  Building stacked stone walls is best suited for a mason.
