Kaknes Landscape & Patio Supply (formerly known as Landscape Express-Salisbury) is owned and operated by Richie Kaknes. He is assisted by his loyal dogs Tucker & Briggs, as well as a small team of drivers, operators & office staff.

Meet the Team

Richie Kaknes, Owner/Operator

No one could be more familiar with the landscape industry than Rich. As a boy and young adult Richie worked for his father’s Nursery/ Landscape supply business in Chicago. He learned the business inside and out.

In 2008, Richie received a degree in Horticulture from the University of Vermont. Out of school he worked at one of the Boston locations of Shemin Nurseries, as a customer service representative and greenhouse manager.

In 2010 Richie founded Landscape Express – Salisbury. As no stranger to hard work and long hours, Richie has built the business into a thriving landscape supply company.  Recently, Richie has expanded the landscape supply yard's offering to include trees, shrubs and perennials,, transforming the business into a fully comprehensive landscape supply yard
To reflect the new additions to the business, Richie changed the company name to KAKNES LANDSCAPE & PATIO supply in 2016.

Kelsey Kaknes

​Kelsey is typically the first face you see when you walk into the Kaknes Landscape office.  Kelsey is a certified landscape designer and specializes in product selection  & inventory management. Stop by in the late afternoon and you may see her cruising around on a forklift prepping for the next days deliveries.

Tom Foscena

Tom joined the KLS team in  2019. You can find him doing daily maintenance around the yard in addition to being our go to for customer satisfaction! Tom gets your product loaded in a safe & timely manner and always does it with a smile! 

Michelle Blandina

Michelle has worked with Kelsey in sales for the last four years before joining Kaknes Landscape in 2020. She has an extensive background in customer service and has been a great addition to the team! 

Briggs

Briggs is our enthusiastic greeter & ball retriever.  You can generally find him napping in the office, or tagging along during yard walks & inventory counts.
