No one could be more familiar with the landscape industry than Rich. As a boy and young adult Richie worked for his father’s Nursery/ Landscape supply business in Chicago. He learned the business inside and out.

In 2008, Richie received a degree in Horticulture from the University of Vermont. Out of school, he worked at one of the Boston locations of Shemin Nurseries, as a customer service representative and greenhouse manager.

In 2010 Richie founded Landscape Express – Salisbury. As no stranger to hard work and long hours, Richie has built the business into a thriving landscape supply company.  Recently, Richie has expanded the landscape supply yard's offering to include trees, shrubs, and perennials, transforming the business into a fully comprehensive landscape supply yard. 

To reflect the new additions to the business, Richie changed the company name to KAKNES LANDSCAPE & PATIO supply in 2016.
